The Jacksonville/London Jaguars welcome their division rivals, the Houston Texans, to their home away from home of Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday morning. The AFC South has quickly turned into the most competitive division in the NFL, as no team has a losing record and every team is in the playoff hunt. Every divisional game from here on out will have a playoff quality to it — even in faraway, foggy London Town. Both the Jags (4-4) and the Texans (5-3) are coming off big wins a week ago thanks to great performances from their quarterbacks, and both teams are looking to keep the momentum rolling into the second half of the season.

Houston vs. Jacksonville

Kickoff: Sunday, Nov. 3, 9:30 a.m ET
Where: Wembley Stadium (London, England)
TV: NFL Network
Spread: Texans -1.5

Three Things to Watch

1. Texans' stampeding running attack

Deshaun Watson has proven to be one of the league’s best and most exciting young players, putting himself squarely in the MVP conversation, but he hasn’t done it all by himself. The Texans’ collective rushing attack has quietly put together a rather impressive season, complementing the passing attack by ranking sixth in yards per game (133.6) and seventh in yards per rush (4.8).

No Houston runner has eye-popping numbers this season. The starting running back and leading rusher, Carlos Hyde, is averaging 68 yards per contest, while Watson and backup running back Duke Johnson are averaging just north of 30 yards on the ground apiece. But those numbers don’t tell the full story. Both Watson and Johnson are averaging more than five yards per carry, an impressive mark for a quarterback and a backup back. Watson has been especially dangerous, running for five touchdowns and picking up 17 first downs this season with his feet.

If Houston can establish a running game against a Jaguars defense that struggles to stop the run (4.7 yards per carry), Watson should be able to set up deep throws with play action.

2. A tale of two pass rushes

Both Watson and Gardner Minshew have been running for their lives from opposing defenses all season long, and really, since they’ve been in the league. Houston’s struggles to protect Watson have been well-documented, and last week, Watson was sacked three more times by the Raiders.

Since Watson entered the league a few years ago, no other quarterback has been sacked or hit more frequently.

This season is more of the same, as the Texans’ offensive line has surrendered 24 sacks (25th in NFL) and forced Watson to scramble out of the pocket more than almost any other quarterback in the league. This week, the Texans offense faces a Jags defense that recorded eight sacks against the Jets a week ago.

If anyone knows what Watson is going through, it’s the rookie Minshew. Jacksonville quarterbacks have been forced to scramble out of the pocket at the second-most frequent rate in the league this season. With J.J. Watt out for the rest of the season (again) with a torn pectoral, the Jags’ offensive line can now concentrate on doubling up on the dangerous Whitney Mercilus coming off the edge for Houston. Advantage: Jacksonville.

3. Houston's battered secondary

The only area for the Texans that has been exposed more than their offensive line is their defensive secondary. On Sunday, the Texans will likely have just one regular starter take the field against the Jaguars in safety Justin Reid. Cornerback Johnathan Joseph’s return is still up in the air as of now. With Lonnie Johnson ruled out with a concussion and Gareon Conley and Bradley Roby limited in practice, even if Joseph returns, the Texans’ secondary is still alarmingly thin. With Watt out and Mercilus likely occupied by double teams, Minshew should have plenty of opportunities to put up big numbers against a Texans defense that has allowed 13 passing touchdowns in the last four games.

Final Analysis

With both teams so evenly matched and with so much on the line, this game is as close to a toss-up as we have seen in the NFL this season. It could all come down to what young gunslinger can make the most plays with the game on the line. So, give me the MVP candidate quarterback in Watson and his group of talented wide receivers headlined by DeAndre Hopkins to sweep the season series against Jacksonville.

Prediction: Texans 23, Jaguars 21

The Buffalo Bills will take on the Washington Redskins at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at New Era Field. Buffalo is 5-2 overall and 2-2 at home, while Washington is 1-7 overall and 1-3 on the road. Buffalo is 4-3 against the spread this season and is averaging 130.4 rushing yards per game, which ranks eighth in the NFL. Washington, meanwhile, is 3-5 against the spread this season, but has given up an average of just 14.6 points per game in its last three contests. Buffalo is favored by 9.5-points in the latest Bills vs. Redskins odds, while the Over-Under is set at 37. Before entering any Redskins vs. Bills picks, you'll want to see the NFL predictions from the advanced computer model at SportsLine.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,000 for $100 players on its top-rated NFL picks since its inception four years ago. It has nailed its recent top-rated NFL picks, entering Week 9 of the 2019 NFL schedule on a strong 25-17 run that dates back to last season. It's also on an incredible 87-60 roll on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season, The model also ranked in the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch for the third year in a row on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 96 percent of CBS Sports office pool players. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, it has simulated Bills vs. Redskins 10,000 times and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning Under, and it also says one side of the spread has all the value. You can only see the pick at SportsLine.

The model has taken into account that the Bills lost their second game of the season last week, falling 31-13 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Josh Allen completed 16-of-34 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns, while also leading the team in rushing with eight carries for 45 yards. The Bills' rushing attack was ineffective throughout the day against Philadelphia, as Frank Gore and Devin Singletary combined for just 53 yards on the ground. However, Buffalo will enter Sunday's contest full of confidence, having beaten Washington in four its last five games at home.

Washington, meanwhile, has to be hurting after a lopsided 19-9 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings. One thing holding the Redskins back was the mediocre play of quarterback Case Keenum, who has failed to record a touchdown pass in each of his past two games. For the season, Keenum has thrown for 1,343 yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions.

Two statistics to keep in mind before Sunday's kickoff: The Bills' defense ranks third in the league when it comes to passing yards allowed per game, giving up 194.4 yards on average. Less enviably, the Redskins' offense is second worst in the league in passing yards per game, averaging just 176.4 yards per game through the air.

One of those weeks where everybody knows the winner and nobody wants to lay the price.

New England, who sportsbook have as a 4/1 shot to end the season undefeated (realistic models make it closer to 10/1) are laying a reasonable number for the first time all season.  But do I really want to buck Lamar Jackson & John Harbaugh as a home underdog in a primetime game?

Packers heading to LA against the constantly hurt Chargers, where they’ll sick the Smith Brothers off the edge against one of the worst O-Line’s in football. Easy money right? Hm.  I could see that being a field goal game.

Feels like I’m more likely to pick the winner in every game on the card than cash with one of these short favorites without sweating the number through 60 minutes.  Every single game seems like a layup on the Moneyline and tough call on the spread.  This worries me.  How could the Bears beat the Eagles? But can I really lay 5 points with a team with a .500 record? Won’t they be flat playing their first home game after 3 road games against extremely physical opponents?

Doesn’t feel like the Seahawks should be laying almost a touchdown to anybody. But are they really going to fail to cover the spread for the 6th straight time at CenturyLink Field?

Conclusion: everything is priced exactly correctly.  Bookies have athletic endeavor down to a nuclear science & sports gaming is a fools errand. Everybody go home.

Alternative conclusion: Maybe my instincts are right. Is it possible: maybe the favorites come through this week?

Underdogs have covered at a 54.3% rate so far this season – varying from the historical average of 51% going back to 1989. Has the market overcorrected, giving us relatively cheap prices on these favorites?

Look, there are only 20 Weeks of Football and if I wanted safer returns I could always slide into some S&P Futures. Not going to argue myself out of my instincts. Here’s my mad money parley, starting with the oddest spread of the week.

Panthers: People are discounting the 49ers’ dominance so much that they are drastically altering the power ratings of every team they face – rather than upgrading the 49ers for developing and honing a new version of football (which looks at times a lot like the oldest version of football).  I think the 51-13 drubbing in Santa Clara said a lot more about San Francisco than it did about Carolina.

I still have the Panthers as a slightly above average team that should be favored by 6 over this bad Titans team, ridiculously lucky to escape their last two home games with victories.

Packers: 1.) Aaron Rodgers.

2.) The Chargers are 6-13 ATS at home since moving to LA. I have gone from thinking they have 0 Home Field Advantage to now wondering if it might be a Homefield Disadvantage at this point. Dignity Park will be replete with cosmopolitan Cheese Heads who have moved to Southern California for the weather and will relish the chance to reconnect with the hard-scrabble roots.

Patriots: Going back all the way through his days in Cleveland, Patriots HC Bill Belichick is 69% ATS for his career when facing a starting QB in his second year. That sample now stretches over 60 games after this past week’s depantsing of the Browns, Baker Mayfield.

2nd-year QBs are the sweet spot to fall victim to Belichick’s defensive gameplans. Rookies bring with them some degree of the element of surprise. Veterans have had time to grow accustomed to the league’s tricks and delusions. But 2nd-year QBs are both inexperienced and have enough game tape on them for  Belichick to devise a the perfect game plan of destruction. Belichick is 51-11 SU for his career when facing 2nd year QBs.

NFL fans have had this Minnesota Vikings vs. Kansas City Chiefs matchup circled on their calendars for months with two of the most talented offenses in the league facing off in a rare interconference matchup. But most of that excitement has gone by the wayside with reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes' dislocated knee throwing his availability into question.

After suffering the injury on an Oct. 17 quarterback sneak, the Chiefs had to turn to veteran Matt Moore, who has been decent enough but unable to spark the offense that led the league in scoring and total offense last season. Despite going 24-of-36 for 267 yards with no turnovers last week, the Chiefs fell to the Packers 31-24.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has remained mum about Mahomes' injury. The 24-year-old was limited in Thursday's practice, so he's making progress, but it may not be enough for him to get the go-ahead to play this weekend. Considering his initial timetable of three-to-five weeks, even if Mahomes played on Sunday, we would probably see a similar, if not worse, version of Mahomes when he was clearly hampered by an earlier ankle injury.

The good news for Kansas City is that even if Mahomes can't go and they drop another game, they still have a comfortable lead in the AFC West. The Chiefs enter Week 9 one and a half games up on the Raiders and the only team in the division with a positive point differential (+45, third in the AFC). The ship may have sailed on a first-round playoff bye, but just winning the division at this point is a win.

Even if Mahomes does return in time for Sunday's game, Minnesota (6-2) will provide a difficult opponent. They are third in total offense (396.5 ypg), and running back Dalvin Cook looks every bit as dominant as fans hoped he would now that he's healthy. Offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski had been slow to use Kirk Cousins to begin the year, but the quarterback seems to have found his groove with Stefon Diggs.

Minnesota at Kansas City

Kickoff: Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. ET
TV: FOX
Spread: Minnesota -3.5

Three Things to Watch

1. What will the Chiefs get from their quarterback?

This is the big question hanging over Sunday's game. Given that Patrick Mahomes is back at practice in a limited role, it's entirely possible that the Chiefs may not announce whether or not he'll start until hours before kickoff. It could be gamesmanship or a genuine uncertainty for his injury, but the Chiefs had better be cautious and make sure he doesn't aggravate the injury or suffer a new one, like when he played on his sprained ankle.

Mahomes' mobility could be hampered, which hurt his effectiveness in the three games before the knee injury. During that stretch, he only completed 56.0 percent of his passes and took five sacks. Although he only threw one interception, his 7.8 yards per attempt was nearly three yards less than his average through Week 3.

Were Matt Moore to start, he represents the very definition of a game manager. His 66.7 percent completion rate did look pretty, but that was boosted by 10-of-11 passing at or behind the line of scrimmage. He was just 5-of-12 when passing eight yards or deeper downfield. Moore will have plenty of weapons between Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Sammy Watkins, and Mecole Hardman, but his primary goal will be to not turn the ball over.

2. Has Kirk Cousins finally arrived?

No team has attempted fewer passes per game this season than the Vikings (26.9), but Cousins has been making his case lately to lean more heavily on his arm. Over the last four games, he's lived up to his $84 million contract with 91-of-116 passing for 1,261 yards, 10 touchdowns, and just one interception. His 9.3 yards per attempt lead the NFL, and that's up to 10.9 in his last four games.

Wideout Adam Thielen is questionable after battling a hamstring injury that forced him out last week, but Stefon Diggs has returned to form as one of the league's best receivers in his absence. He has surpassed 140 receiving yards in each of the last three games and ranks fourth in the league in the category despite totaling just 101 through Week 3. The question becomes if the Chiefs defense can step up to stop Cousins' and Diggs' hot play.

3. Can the Chiefs' defense step up?

Kansas City's defense has been middling all season, ranking 17th in total defense and 25th in scoring defense. But they've been a bend-don't-break unit because of their penchant for big plays. The Chiefs rank 11th in the league with 12.9 percent of opponents' drives ending in turnovers. Meanwhile, their 25 sacks rank fifth in the league; KC's talented unit includes four players with at least three sacks.

Missing Mahomes last week hurt, but the defense also didn't step up against the Packers. They only sacked Aaron Rodgers twice and could not force a single turnover. With little pressure, Rodgers was able to go 23-of-33 for 305 yards and three scores. This Chiefs defense will need a much stronger showing against the Vikings.

Final Analysis

The quarterback situation means this game could go any direction; some sportsbooks have yet to release a line, while others have seen theirs bounce all over the place. However, with a raucous home crowd behind them, the Chiefs will be dangerous no matter who is under center. This one could be a high-scoring affair with the team that makes the fewest mistakes likely coming out on top.

Prediction: Chiefs 27, Vikings 24

This matchup between two teams that have combined to go 1-13 so far on the season takes place in Miami Gardens, FL.  The New York Jets bring their record of (1-6) trying to keep the Miami Dolphins winless on the season (0-7).  The Jets are coming off a loss to the Jaguars, 29-15.  The Dolphins looked like they might snag their first win of the season, but the Steelers rallied and won 27-14.

Sam Darnold completed 21 of 30 passes for 218 yds in the loss at the Jaguars.  Darnold threw 2 touchdowns and 3 picks in the game.  The Jets only managed 46 yds rushing as a team on 15 attempts.  Jets receiver Ryan Griffin was a bright spot for the offense.  Griffin had 4 receptions, 66 yds, and the two touchdowns in the loss.  The Jets did not help themselves by committing 10 penalties and having 3 turnovers.  Jets were out gained 389 to 213.

The Dolphins led 14-0 after the first quarters and 14-`0 at halftime and looked like the Dolphins would find a 1 in the win column, that did not happen.  The Steelers kept the Dolphins scoreless in the 2nd half.  Ryan Fitzpatrick was 21/34 for 190 yds, while throwing 2 TD's and 2 INT's.  The Dolphins rushed for just 60 yds in the game via 19 carries.  The Dolphins in total committed 4 turnovers, that ultimately hurt their chances for a win.

Recent Betting Trends:

The Jets are 2-5 ATS this season.

The Jets are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in Miami.

The under is 4-3 in Jets games this season.

The Dolphins are 1-3 ATS at home.

The Dolphins are 5-14-1 ATS in their last 20 games at home against the Jets.

The under is 5-2 in Dolphins games this year.

Head to head, the Dolphins are 6-4 against the Jets in the last 10 meetings.  In the last 3 games for the Dolphins, the Dolphins have been competitive, unlike the first 3 games of the season.  The Dolphins looked as if they would get a road win 2 weeks back in Buffalo, but folded down the stretch.  Looking at the Jets road games, the Jets have lost all 3 games by at least 14 points.  The Dolphins rank dead last in takeaways, but the Jets 28th in giveaways.  Jets corner back Trumaine Johnson did leave the game against the Jaguars with an injury, if Johnson is out, look for Fitzpatrick to air it out in the direction of his replacement.  The Dolphins are due a win at some point, right? Maybe, maybe not. Fitzpatrick used to play for the Jets, Fitzpatrick will be ready to face one of his former teams.  Final score prediction, Dolphins out right win in a sloppy game 23-17.

A pair of NFC teams that have failed to play up to preseason expectations will get together on Sunday when the Chicago Bears take on the Philadelphia Eagles. These two teams last met in the NFC Wild Card Game and seemingly little has gone right for either since then.

The Bears' (3-4) woes from last season continued last week against the Chargers. The offense struggled to score, reaching the end zone only once. Just as in their playoff meeting with the Eagles last season, the Bears missed what would have been the game-winning field goal on the final play of the game.

The Eagles (4-4) ended their run of three straight road games on a positive note last Sunday, beating the Bills after losing at Minnesota and at Dallas. Philadelphia grabbed the lead by scoring a touchdown in the final minute of the first half. The Eagles then scored the game-clinching touchdown in the first minute of the second half.

Chicago leads the all-time series, 30-15-1. For games in Philadelphia, the Eagles hold an advantage of 13-8-1. The Eagles have won the last four meetings.

Chicago at Philadelphia

Kickoff: Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. ET
TV: FOX
Spread: Eagles -4.5

Three Things to Watch

1. Will the Eagles avoid falling behind early in the game?

Philadelphia is not well suited for second-half rallies. In the five games in which the Eagles have trailed after the first quarter this season, they have lost three of those. When trailing at halftime, they have lost four of five. They have averaged just 218.8 passing yards per game, ranking 21st in the NFL, so their offense is not built for quick comebacks. They have yet to go on a drive in the fourth quarter that resulted in taking the lead.

As a defensive-oriented team, Chicago has experienced success when grabbing the lead before the second half. The Bears have been ahead at the end of the first quarter in three games, winning two of those. They have been ahead at halftime four times and won three of those. They have allowed an average of only 230.6 passing yards per game, tenth fewest in the NFL.

2. Are Carson Wentz and the rest of the Eagles prepared to diversify their attack against the Bears defense?

The gusty conditions last Sunday in Buffalo dictated a gameplan that relied heavily on the running game for the Eagles. The forecast for Sunday in Philadelphia calls for winds in the 10 mph range. That poses much less of a challenge than the wind in the mid-20s in Buffalo.

How unusual was Philadelphia’s dependence on the ground attack last week? The Eagles rushed the ball 41 times. That is the highest number since their 42 attempts in Week 4 of the 2017 season on the road in a win over the Chargers. They had their first rushing total over 200 yards since Week 11 of that season during a victory in Dallas. Actually, they gained 218 yards on the ground, their highest total since Week 13 of 2014, when they piled up 256 in Dallas.

3. Could removing Mitchell Trubisky and inserting Chase Daniel spark the Bears offense?

Chase Daniel has played in two games this season. He substituted for Trubisky in Week 4 in a victory at home over Minnesota. He started against the Raiders in the next game in London. In both games, he completed 22 of his 30 passing attempts. Against the Vikings, he compiled only 195 yards and a touchdown while being sacked once. In London, he threw touchdowns and two interceptions. More disturbingly, the Raiders sacked him four times for a total of 37 yards lost.

Mitchell Trubisky has started and completed five games this season. In those games, he has averaged 216.6 passing yards and one passing touchdown per game. When Trubisky has thrown 31 or fewer times in a game, the Bears have won. When his number of passes has been 35 or more, they have lost. So is less Trubisky involvement a pathway to victory?

The Bears have struggled to protect the quarterbacks, regardless of who was taking snaps from center. As previously noted, the Raiders terrorized Daniel. In the three victorious starts for Trubisky, opponents sacked him an average of once per game. In the three defeats for Trubisky, he was tackled for a loss 3.67 times on average per game. Clearly, the offensive line shares some of the blame for the quarterbacks' difficulties.

Final Analysis

The chances of the Bears repeating as NFC North champions appear remote. They trail Green Bay by four games. They have already lost their first meeting with the Packers. They need to start an extensive winning streak just to remain in contention for a wild card berth.

The Eagles' postseason prospects seem much brighter. They trail Dallas by only half a game. They need to keep winning to remain on the heels of the Cowboys with the chance to overtake them in the latter half of the season. They need to win this game to improve their meager 2-4 conference record. That record could serve as a tiebreaker for determining if the Eagles can grab a wild card spot in case Philadelphia fails to win the NFC East.

Prediction: Eagles 20, Bears 10

Neither the Indianapolis Colts nor the Pittsburgh Steelers are strangers to close games. Indianapolis fans have been living off Tums and Zantac all season long, as the first-place Colts (5-2) have been living on the edge. Every Colts game this season has been decided by seven points or less for a point differential of only 4.7. The Colts have embodied their head coach's style of stoic aggressiveness, and it’s lead the boys in blue to the top of the AFC South.

Despite losing Ben Roethlisberger for the season in Week 2 — along with their first three games — the Steelers (3-4) have shown their resiliency by winning three of their last four, including a comeback win on "Monday Night Football" against Miami. Sure, none of their wins have come against contending teams (Bengals, Chargers, Dolphins), but even in their losses against superior teams (Ravens, 49ers), the Steelers have proven to be a tough out. Despite the sub-.500 mark, Pittsburgh is still in second place in the AFC North and in the thick of the AFC playoff picture.

Pittsburgh owns a 23-6 all-time mark against the Colts, including wins in their last five matchups.

Indianapolis at Pittsburgh

Kickoff: Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. ET

TV: CBS

Spread: Indianapolis -1

Three Things to Watch

1. Sticking with Rudolph

Surely Mason Rudolph heard the Heinz Field boo birds during the first quarter of Monday's game against Miami. The second-year slinger from Oklahoma State was bad in the first 15 minutes. He threw an interception on his very first throw, completed only one of his six pass attempts. and finished the quarter with a QB rating that only John Blutarsky could respect. Zero. Point. Zero.

Luckily for Rudolph, Mike Tomlin has more confidence in his quarterback than Dean Wormer did with the rest of Delta Tau Chi pledge class of '62. Rudolph responded by leading the Steelers to a come-from-behind win with two touchdown passes and 27 unanswered points.

Ever since Big Ben went down, Rudolph has done a fair job of filling in for the future Hall of Famer. His numbers aren't eye-popping, but certainly respectable — nine touchdowns, three interceptions, a 63 percent completion rate, and a 97.5 QB rating in five starts. Offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner has done a good job putting Rudolph in situations to succeed by calling for easy, short-yardage throws away from the middle of the field. Rudolph’s 4.5 average air yards per completion is just north of Luke Falk, Mitchell Trubisky, and Josh Rosen, and only four of his completions on Monday were across the middle.

Rudolph has really been surprisingly good when it matters most: in the red zone and in the fourth quarter. He's an efficient 9-of-11 with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the red zone and completing 65 percent of his passes without any picks in the fourth quarter.

Like most young quarterbacks, Rudolph has struggled against the blitz, when he is only connecting on half of his throws. Look for Frank Reich to dial up a ton of pressure to rattle the young quarterback and for Justin Houston to add to his sack count.

2. Steelers' walking wounded

James Conner had by far his best game of the season Monday night. He ran wild over the Dolphins for 145 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown. But the night didn't end the way it should have, as Conner was hurt near the two-minute warning and left the stadium with his right arm in a sling. Mike Tomlin said the injury is an AC joint issue and Conner was given the Doubtful tag on the final injury report.

To make matters worse, backup running back Benny Snell Jr. has already been ruled out after suffering a knee injury on Monday night. That leaves Jaylen Samuel and Trey Edmunds at running back. Samuels has only 18 carries this season and has missed the last month after having his knee scoped but he was a full practice participant this week and carries no injury designation. Edmunds has only appeared in two games this season and has one rushing attempt.

The Steelers' misfortune is the Colts' treasure, as now even more responsibility likely falls on the arm of the young and unproven Rudolph. Indy's defense struggles against the rush, allowing 4.8 yards per carry, but showed last week how much of a force they can be against the pass — three sacks, 174 passing yards allowed, 76.4 QB rating.

3. Keeping Jacoby upright

Last week was the first time all season that opposing teams were able to overwhelm the Colts' vaunted offensive line and get to Jacoby Brissett. Brissett was on the run from Von Miller & Co. all day, as the Broncos defense sacked the Indianapolis quarterback four times, one of which forced a late fourth-quarter fumble. The Colts' O-line looked flat-out over-matched by Denver's pass rush. Give credit to Brissett's Houdini-like moves to extend a few plays for big yardage and save the Colts' win.

This week, the task at hand doesn't get any easier for the Indy linemen. The Steelers' balanced and relentless pass rush, led by T.J. Watt (6 sacks), Cameron Heyward (4.5), and Bud Dupree (4.0), are tied for sixth in the league in sacks (26). The Steelers' pass rush was able to bring down Ryan Fitzpatrick four times on Monday night, as Pittsburgh shut out the Dolphins in the final three quarters.

Final Analysis

Records aside, the one-point spread and each team's point differential explains just how evenly matched these two teams really are. The Colts' 2-1 road record, their ability to squeak out ugly, close wins, and their advantage at the quarterback position give them a slight edge, although not having No. 1 wide receiver T.Y. Hilton because of a calf injury will make things tougher. The X-factor is 46-year–old Adam Vinatieri's wildly inconsistent season (11-for-15 on field goals, 13-for-17 on PATs). He missed another field goal and an extra point last week after going through a case of the yips earlier in the year. This game very well could come down to the unsure foot of the greatest kicker of all-time.

Prediction: Colts 21, Steelers 18
